What is House Bill 3371?
House Bill 3371 will carry changes to the Home Care industry mainly in regards to personal care aides. This bill changes the RN on-site visit frequency from one month to three months.
This bill also states that the training program used to train the personal care aides is developed by an RN employed by the home care agency.
This bill will become law November 1, 2024.

CEUs are provided for members that attend the meeting LIVE, as well as lunch if meeting is attended in-person.

- What stays the same:
- You must complete 12 total CEU hours each renewal cycle
- A maximum of 6 hours may be done through home or self-guided study
- What changes:
- Live webinars and Zoom trainings will no longer count toward the required 6 in-person (instructor-led) CEU hours
- The 6 instructor-led hours must be completed in person (e.g., classroom or conference)
